How to cook sunny side-up Egg

🥚 Ingredients:

  • 1 egg (or more)

  • 1 tsp butter or oil

  • Salt and pepper (optional)

🍳 Instructions:

  1. Heat the Pan:

    • Place a non-stick skillet over low to medium-low heat.

    • Add butter or oil and let it melt or heat up gently.

  2. Crack the Egg:

    • Crack the egg into a small bowl (optional, helps avoid broken yolks), then gently slide it into the pan.

  3. Cook Slowly:

    • Let the egg cook undisturbed.

    • The whites will gradually set while the yolk stays runny.

    • Don't flip it—that’s what makes it “sunny side up.”

  4. Cover the Pan (Optional):

    • If you like the top of the whites a little more set, cover the pan with a lid for 30 seconds to 1 minute. This helps steam the top slightly without flipping.

  5. Season and Serve:

    • Add salt and pepper to taste.

    • Slide the egg gently out of the pan with a spatula.

🔥 Tips:

  • Use fresh eggs for the best shape and texture.

  • Keep the heat low to prevent browning or crispy edges unless that’s your preference.

  • You can add herbs or a dash of chili flakes for extra flavor.
